This is a reminder about the Memorial Day Golf Tournament on Monday, May 30. We will have a 9 hole captain’s choice beginning at 9:00. We have a big turnout again this year, but still have room for 1 more player, as all of our carts are booked for the event. After the golf, we will have a catered BBQ lunch. Unless someone tells me otherwise, I have all the participants in the event as eating lunch at the club, and they will be charged for lunch. If anyone else would like to join us for lunch, including spouses of participants, please call the golf shop no later than Friday, May 27, as I have to give the caterer a head count. Cost for the lunch is $10 per person. The cost for the golf tournament is $25 per person, which includes golf cart, awards and lunch. If you are on the annual cart plan, you will pay only $15. We hope to reopen the golf course for other play about 12:30 to 1:00. If you have any questions, please call the golf shop at 828-859-9561.
