Thank you for taking time to visit our web site. Tryon Country Club is one of golfing’s best kept secrets in Western North Carolina.

We are located near the North Carolina and South Carolina state line just off I-26. We are one of the oldest golf clubs in the state dating back to 1916 and our course was designed by one of America’s most renowned architects, Donald Ross. The course has held the classic feel of a Donald Ross course over the years with raised greens and challenging approach shots.

We are a private club, but encourage the public to stop by and arrange with our PGA professionals a tour of the course and receive a membership information packet. We offer several membership options that will fit a variety of budgets and lifestyles. Many members take advantage of our special Non-Resident member status as they live full-time in many different areas of the country.

As Bobby Jones said, “there is golf and there is tournament golf.” We have several golfing associations that will challenge your golfing ability no matter what your handicap. There are leagues that run year-round as well as one or two-day tournaments open to all levels throughout the year.
