TWGA looks to beat the pro

The TWGA Event for the Day at the Tryon Country Club on September 8  was BEAT THE PRO.  And nobody did!

The format was Best Net against Golf Pro Marc Brady's Best Gross.  The score to beat for the 18-holers was 74 (Marc Brady's gross score for 18 holes) and the score to beat for the 9-holers was 36 (Marc Brady's gross score on the first 9 holes). 

One 18-hole player, Jane Templeton, tied his score with a net 74; and in the 9-hole group, Lib McKeller tied with a net 36. Twenty-eight women participated, and Marc Brady played a hole with each group. We all enjoyed the day and look forward to a rematch!
