TWGA Play Day results for July 28

On Tuesday, July 28, the Tryon Women's Golf Association held a Captain's Choice Wing Ding followed by lunch and the monthly meeting. Hostesses for the day were Betty Burdue (chair); Sally Jo Carter, and Anne Connolly.

The winning teams were:
1st)  Hoppy Long, Barbara Manning, Vicki Wood and Bonnie Sakos - 37
2nd) Marie Foster, Dee Huneycutt, Elaine Riley and June Current - 38
3rd)  Mary Martlock, Parky Flanagan, Glenda Delott and Nancy Hiley - 39
 
The Chicks with Sticks Inter-club League will be playing on Monday, August 3, at Broadmoor.  Please call the Pro Shop at 859-9561 or Jane Templeton at 859-5190 for details.
 
On August 4, the Event for the Day will be Throw out Par 4's and using Half handicap.  Please be sure to either call or sign up at the Pro Shop. First tee time 8 a.m.. with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start for 9-hole play.
