TWGA switches gears with Match Play day

On June 23rd, the TWGA event for the day was individual rounds of Match Play for both 18-holers and 9-holers. The results are as follows:
 
18-Hole Event
Joyce Arledge was up 1 over Cynthia Terwilliger; Jane Templeton won over Kathy Bartlett 5 and 4; Harlene Harm won over Sheila Umlauf 8 and 6; Margaret Wheat won over Peggy Henson 2 and 1; Peggy Woodward won over Hoppy Long 4 and 2.
 
9-Hole Event
Elaine Riley won over Barbara Manning 3 and 2; Joyce Lamb was 1 up over Dee White; Parky Flanagan won over Liz Easley 4 and 3; Lib McKeller won over Betty Murray 3 and 1; Delia Tittle won over Betty Burdue 5 and 4; Anne Conolly won over Glenda Delott 4 and 2; Christine Mariotti won over Betty Burdue 3 and 2.
 
The event on Tuesday, June 30th, will be Flag Day with a reminder that the shotgun start will be at 8:30 a.m.  Golf will be followed by the monthly luncheon/meeting.  Please be sure to sign up at the Pro Shop.
